It seems like Piwik already tries to access the database, but I couldn't even enter any credentials or even a database name - all I could do so far was clicking the "Next" button.
Out of curiosity I even tried to enter the database name in the global.ini.php (since no config.ini.php exists at this point). If I do so, I get following message:Piwik encoutered an error: Maximum execution time of 30 seconds exceeded (which lead to: SQLSTATE[HY000] [1044] Access denied for user ''@'%' to database 'piwik')
So I also entered the username and password needed to access the database, also in the global.ini.php. New errormessage:

I don't get it. All I want to do is run the setup wizard to specify my settings, create the tables and a config.ini.php. Instead, it seems like piwik directly tries to start up with the default setting of the global.ini.php... So what am I doing wrong? How can I run the setup wizard?
I even downloaded the latest version of Xampp to make sure it is no problem with the IIS or missing extensions. Same problem there on the xampp-apache. Tried PHP 5.6 instead, same problem. Tried the last 2.x version of Piwik, same problem. I am running out of ideas, please, anybody help me!
