Unable to log custom dimensions

_paq.push([ "trackEvent",
"my category",
"my action",
"my name",
0]);

which results in a JS error on the first command :
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'apply' of undefined

...

Any idea of what I did wrong?
