Opt-out code shows 404-error

I am trying to configure the new wordpress beta plugin for Matomo.

In the section “Let users opt-out of tracking”, I cannot see anything in the preview box. When I implement the code snippet in a html widget or a page I always get the 404 error.

Any hints, ideas or maybe solutions?

If I can’t get it work, I cannot use Matomo in Europe…
