Matomo Analytics plugin (Version:** 4.15.1) on Wordpress 6.3.1 (on a shared hosting server) suddenly causes a “fatal error” (white screen of death, someone calls it) after updating it: I can no longer access my wp-admin unless I use FileZilla, access the database, and delete the Matomo plugin. I deactivated every single plugin by way of testing, and it’s definitely Matomo that causes the crash. None of the plugins listed at https://matomo.org/faq/wordpress/which-plugins-is-matomo-for-wordpress-known-to-be-not-compatible-with/ are installed on my WP.
There hasn’t been any change - server, PHP, whatever, so I don’t know what the problem is. I tried uninstalling Matomo via FTP (quite time-consuming) and re-installing it on WP, to no avail. Can you please help? Plz let me know if you need further info. Thanks.
