WhileLabel plugin blanks out admin page

Hello,

Activating the WhileLabel plugin causes the admin page to appear blank.

So with the plugin disabled, the admin page appears as normal.

But as soon as I enable it, then the admin page becomes this:

Is that normal/expected?

Note: I am currently using Matomo 5.0.2 and version 5.0.1 of the WhiteLabel plugin.
