Hi,
Hopefully this is the best place to ask, sorry otherwise.
Over the past weeks, I have been tracking the load time of my pages, as reported by matomo (on-premise) under Behaviour - Performance. I have noticed that the graph shows huge differences from one day to the next, especially for AVG DOM completion time.
Digging further, I exported several single-day data to Excel, and noticed that the nb_hits_with_time_dom_completion is systematically much lower than the other nb_hits values. Same for nb_hits_with_time_dom_processing, which is also quite low compared to the other ones.
Moreover, these two DOM metrics contain obvious outliers (in red above): I doubt anyone has waited 2743 seconds on my website to load!
The combination of these two findings explains, in my opinion, why my Performance metrics graph is currently of little use.
I am curious: why is there so few nb_hits_with_time_dom_completion? Am I the only one, or do other matomo users see the same when exporting their Performance metrics data?
Thanks a lot for your insight!
