The variable userId used in _paq.push(['setUserId', userId]); is definitely set when needed.

Now when I go to Matomo > Vistiors > User IDs report, it is empty.

Any ideas why? Do I need to wait for some time?
Do I need to call resetUserId for that to work?

My webserver is fairly powerful with a 24 cores processing and 48 Gigs of RAM. I’ve had browser archiving enabled, and around 1,500 page views per day, but my server is always at 60% - 100% of resource usage since updating to 3.11.0.

When I turned browser archiving “Off” and set it to archive every 1 hour by Cron, it got much better but still sends my server into overdrive at 100% usage for about 10 minutes every hour. My cron job still isn’t configured by support, so maybe that’s why? I have the cron set to run every 3600 seconds.

When switching back to “Browser Archiving Enabled” I get the above error message at the top of this post. On the System Check page, I get 2 errors:

"It is recommended to configure a ‘max_allowed_packet’ size in your MySQL database of at least 64MB. Configured is currently 16MB."

and

"Archiving has not yet run successfully"

This update is just killing my traffic. Is there no resource throttling? I don’t understand how a server with 1,500 page views per day can drown my dedicated server processing info for roughly 100 page views per hour? I’m at 1% of what the Matomo Docs say you need for a dedicated server?

In Matomo 3.11.0, f I try to select a different year for a month report at the top of the Email Reports screen, it doesn’t work. I can only get a valid month report if that month is already displayed in that date/range box at the top of the screen. e.g. select month report, select month/year (July 2018), then apply, the original selection of August 2019 appears again. The only way to select July 2018 is to select a date range 1 July 2018 to 31 July 2018, which is more or less the same thing, but doesn’t give you a monthly traffic graph like August 2019 does. A couple of days ago on 1 August, it was possible to produce a report for July 2019, because when selecting ‘month’, July 2019 would be initially displayed. However now, we are further into August, August 2019 is displayed and it can no longer select ‘July 2019’. There is a workaround as I have mentioned but wanted to highlight it in case it had not been identified.
