After setting up, I added some websites to try things out.
Today I had to spend hours searching figuring out how to remove those sites from the list.
There was just zero traces of anything remotely looking like a delete function anywhere.
The only things I found in the forums and help texts, suggested I had to run SQL-code to delete anything.
Turns out the only way to get the UI to a state where you can delete sites,
is to click a link marked…
“Add a new website” !
And that also seems to be the only way to reveal any of the sub-sections to the “All Websites”-part of the UI, and large parts of the rest of navigation of the entire admin UI.
You have to first initiate the process of adding a new website, then cancel that action, and then you can get to that part of the UI.
This:
/matomo/index.php?module=SitesManager
…seems to be the only page where you can view a list of the sites, with delete-buttons for each.
But there is no way to get to that page directly from anywhere.
Am I missing something here, or is that just really bad UI-design?
